Mural memorium

That was then, but this is NOW.

In the memory of Dr. MLK Jr. Louis Delsarte led local Atlanta artists in completing a massive mural that now covers one wall of the MLK Natatorium.

Reflecting

Mayor Kasim Reed was a speaker at the dedication of the mural.

A musician waits for his turn to play during the dedication’s proceedings.

Hair

It’s been awhile. Mostly because I’ve been shooting like crazy among other photo projects. So, many updates from the past three months to come.

This was from shooting a sequence of events as an assignment and choosing to picture take a sunny afternoon of hair-doing.

people without people

passing by

shooting photos in Little Five Points a couple weeks ago, i watched as almost 15 people passed this guy without even looking at him really. then one couple paid attention for just long enough to do something meaningful for someone. i know, i know, the homeless photo. usually not my style but there’s a time for everything.

going greek

i am more than a little obsessed with all things Greek. the whole culture and history appeals to me and has since i could read pretty much. so, i always make it out to Greek Fest every year and this year i got some random non-Greek related shots.

every year they have a kids section and of course i get dragged over there. but there are usually some interesting moments so i can’t complain. well, at least not too much…

golden

this is why i love shooting dancers. they need far less direction.

dragon*con 2009

one of my new favorite things is this amazing sci-fi convention. yes, i’m a geek.  for at least five different things. two of them being angels and mermaids. ahem.
